Good for notifications but thats it

I didnt have any issues registering my two dogs as some others did, and havent tried the facial recognition yet--but I did try to message someone who had posted a lost dog.
I saw a dog running down the side of the road and was unable to get it but did call the authorities who said they would send someone out. I saw a dog on finding rover that looked just like it so tried to message the person who had posted it as lost. My first message disappeared while I was writing it. I started over and finished the second message, but have no idea if it went through, or if the person will be able to get hold of me for more specific information.
When I tried to go to support for the app I get a message that the support function has expired.
Makes me wonder if theres adding one overseeing the app, or if it actually works.
It is good to see the lost dogs in your area in case you run across one of them, but if you dont have them in hand to take a photo can you actually reach the owner to report a sighting?
