Finding Rover App Reviews

Canada wants to be reunited with our lost dogs too! Please allow postal codes to be accepted (a#a #a#). The app is smart enough to use location services to enter my postal code, but I cannot complete the registration process.

Disappointed that Canadians cannot use this app

This app is not what you think it is. I saw a dog loose on my street. I thought this could help me post a pic and a location, as I could not actually catch the dog. This app does none of that.

Great app, but I cant quite figure out how to add more than one pet. I have two dogs, but was only able to add one of them. If this can be done, please make the app more user friendly. Thanks!!!

The facial recognition does not match up all that great, and it kept bringing me to areas 400 miles away. My dog is a mastiff, and it was matching it with Pomeranians. They also send a rude e-mail if you forget to update the status of your pet. Not impressed with the app, but I love the concept.

I didnt have any issues registering my two dogs as some others did, and havent tried the facial recognition yet--but I did try to message someone who had posted a lost dog. I saw a dog running down the side of the road and was unable to get it but did call the authorities who said they would send someone out. I saw a dog on finding rover that looked just like it so tried to message the person who had posted it as lost. My first message disappeared while I was writing it. I started over and finished the second message, but have no idea if it went through, or if the person will be able to get hold of me for more specific information. When I tried to go to support for the app I get a message that the support function has expired. Makes me wonder if theres adding one overseeing the app, or if it actually works. It is good to see the lost dogs in your area in case you run across one of them, but if you dont have them in hand to take a photo can you actually reach the owner to report a sighting?

The shelter and rescue profiles are AWESOME! I cant wait to see other organizations jump on board. Recent updates have this app working better than ever. The app has ALWAYS made a positive match when I tested it on lost/found dogs, but the new layout is great.

I keep getting errors and I try over and over then it finally finished. Searching sometimes works then doesnt. Everything on the app works then doesnt then does. Its a pain. Please fix so the app is useable.

I give Finding Rover a 5 star rating.I love this app so much I am on it every day it is so fun because of all the things you can do and see.I love reading the reunion stories and posting pics.I recommend it:)You can also get helpful training tips which I love to read and teach my dogs new tricks.You can see pics of dog from all over.Also shelters across the U.S join finding rover and you can see the dogs they have found and that are up for adoption,and you can see lost and found dogs in your area.There is so much to do on finding Rover and there is always something new to read.finding rover is great for when you lose a dog they have reunited so many dogs with their owners through facial recognition. Finding rover is such a helpful app in a lot of ways:)

Mandating a login is stupid when Im the one who found a dog and want to help their owner. second, while trying to use Facebook to login, Im getting message saying Ive already created an account- not really. So maybe some has my name and now I cant look on here? I cant "login" without getting this message, even after I delete and reinstall the app. Bad flaw in app design

I am also getting error messages that I already have an account created do this app needs some major work as it flaws and I cant even get into it .,, lame

I am forever grateful for this app. My dog strayed from home around 2pm yesterday. I didnt get home until 9pm to only notice she was missing. I stayed up all night looking for her. I downloaded this app early this morning after my cousin told me about it. Within seconds of creating a profile and adding her photo... 4 matches came back from dogs picked up in my area where theyre noses and eyes matched my baby girl. She was one of the matches. Words cant describe the feeling of seeing my dog found and safe. I am forever grateful.

There are glitches that need to be works before downloading the app. Primarily the glitch that produces an error code when trying to create a new account.

Pretty good idea and the app works fine for me. Im going to add maybe have a search engine to be specific with lost and found pets. Example Search: Found German Shepherd Or Lost Cocker Spaniel mix

I cant seem to find the "more" button using my iPhone 6+. I added my first dog, but cannot seem to find any button to allow me to edit him or add my 2nd dog. Poor design. Please fix so we can use this app! Such a good idea, every pet parent should use it.

Cant even create an account - keep getting an error message. Please fix this app so it will actually work!

When I first signed up, it worked. Now it doesnt. No matter how I try to sign in, I get error messages. No way to fix it. No tech support access. You cant change anything & you cant delete the acct; deleting the app and reinstalling it doesnt solve anything. Great idea, BUT……

I saw this on my local news tonight. I registered my dog as soon as app was uploaded on my phone. Luckily I have not had to use it yet. We seem to find dogs in our yard so hope it will be good for locating owners.
